Humans age, as do other mammals. However, not all animals age. In this series of articles, I highlight the fact that aging does not affect all animals. Some animals seem to stay young for a long time. Both environmental factors and genetic factors shape longevity. The latter provides more power to the cells to stay youthful for decades.
